Commonbound is an early pilot run by Monika, Sarper and Duncan. We collect the details you submit so we can review your interest, ask follow-up questions and suggest relevant introductions.
Who can see what you share?
Submissions are private by default. The team reviews them in a protected admin area. You can publish your profile from your dashboard, or give the team permission to publish it. Published profiles appear in our searchable directories with your answers, SDG quiz answers and website. Your contact email, pay expectations and team review notes stay private. We ask both sides before sharing details for an introduction.
When you request a conversation, we store your chosen request type, message, name, email and permission to contact you. Quiz suggestions are included only if you choose to attach them. These requests are private and reviewed by the team for the named recipient.
What do we store?
Your form answers, optional portfolio images, contact details, submission date and permission to contact you. We may add private notes about conversations and introductions. Please leave out confidential information and other people's personal details. Portfolio images are private until you agree to publish your profile.
Images uploaded while completing the form stay available in that browser's draft for 24 hours. Expired draft images are removed when new images are uploaded or the team runs draft cleanup.
The app and its database are hosted on Fly.io. We store your account email and completed SDG quiz answers. Login codes expire after ten minutes, are stored as hashes, and can only be used once. We record code requests and IP addresses to limit repeated requests. We use an essential session cookie for login and form security. Login sessions last up to 30 days, or until you log out. We don't use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
Changes or removal
Log in to edit your profile or remove it from the public directory. To delete your submission, contact the team member who invited you, or reply to a message from us. Please use the email address you submitted so we can verify the request.
We keep submissions while we run this pilot and review whether they are still needed when it ends. We won't publish your answers without your permission or add you to a marketing mailing list. You can ask the team to take your public profile down.
